- The Farmers brand name and reputation. You have all the advantages of being associated with a brand name company, without the cost. You will not pay Farmers for the “right” to represent us. You will enjoy the reputation Farmers has built over 81 years.
- Financial Assistance. Understanding that it takes time and money to build a business, Farmers provides financial assistance. This program is too involved to discuss here, but up to $74,000 is available in the first two years, in addition to your commissions, to help you build your business. We’ll get into the details when we meet personally.
- Training. This is state-of-the-art training that includes manuals, videos, on-line classes and assessments, and live classroom time. You will also go to Los Angeles for a week of intense training at the University of Farmers campus. We start from the ground up, assuming you know nothing about insurance, sales, or being in business.
- Advertising. Farmers will spent $300 million in 2010 to promote our Agents, our Brand, and our products.
- A portfolio of industry leading policies. We are constantly innovating and fine tuning to make sure we lead the competition, and to make sure our clients receive the best protection.
- Competitively priced policies. We are not the lowest priced Company. But, we work hard to make sure our operating expenses are kept in line so we can offer a competitively priced product.
- Technology. Through the Farmers “Dashboard”, you will quote policy premiums on-line and submit new business on-line. You have access to your client’s information, on-line. And, we have a client data management system that allows you to develop marketing and contact programs with your clients. This is all free of charge. All you need is a computer and a data line.
- Stability. Insurance is a demand product. People must insure their cars, homes and businesses. This means economic "swings" don't affect us like they do other industries. The residual income gives you stability and security. And, YOU are in control of your future. It's a great feeling.
