I have three, full-time, experienced staff in the District Office. We are committed to training you and helping you build a successful agency that creates a lucrative income for you, while providing the best protection for your clients.  We help you with:
- Facilities. During the first year or two of your career you work out of the District Office. This means you won’t have to lease space or buy office furniture to get set up. We have a “turn-key” office waiting for you.
- Training. You will attend approximately 50 hours of live classroom training which I conduct. In addition to the training Farmers has developed, you will receive training I have developed over my 35 years in business, including 29 years in insurance. It’s not just product and sales training. It’s also business training. We’ll teach you how to be a consultant with your clients, to advise them whether they have too much coverage, or not enough. You’ll learn sales, but you won’t be a sales-person. You will be a business-person.
- Daily support. One reason we bring you into the District Office is so my staff and I are available to you all day, every day. Even though the training is thorough, questions and situations come up every day. We are there to help you with all of them. My staff includes:
- Dawn Lehmberg, who has been in my District Office for 21 years. She knows the ins and outs of setting up an agency, and will walk you through everything from getting your licenses to writing Life insurance.
- Elly Kravet, who has over 20 years experience in Commercial Insurance. She has worked in several different agencies, and has been with us for nearly 3 years. She knows everything there is to know about Commercial Insurance, and will hold your hand in this area.
- Rocky Taylor, who recently completed the two year "Career Program"...and finished with flying colors. Rocky wants to be a District Manager, so he left his agency and is training in our District. This is great for you, because he has just done what you'd be doing...and you can learn from his experience.
- Mentoring. Beyond the formal training and the daily help, we stand beside you and help you grow and develop as a business owner and a person. I meet with you privately every week to monitor your progress and discuss any topic you like. We take a real interest in your business and personal success.
- Experience. Everything I and my staff have learned during our years in business and insurance will be at your disposal to help you avoid mistakes and grow your business quickly.
- Record of Success. Our District has always enjoyed record setting growth in premiums generated and Policies-in-Force. A variety of ranking mechanisms consistently place our District in the top spot in Utah. Our peers recognize us as the top District. We have a winning culture that has resulted in many of our Agents achieving the highest honors in the Farmers Insurance Group. These include President’s Council, which is achieved by less than 1% of the Agents and District Managers.
